Coventry Community Sports Hub

We exist to make sport accessible to everyone. We provide facilities and programmes that bring people together through healthy recreation, welcoming players, volunteers and supporters of all ages and backgrounds.

Our Core Activities

Sport and Community at the Heart of What We Do

Inclusive Sport for All

At Coventry Community Sports Hub, we believe sport should be open to everyone. Whether you're picking up a ball for the first time or returning after years away, our programmes in rugby, football, and walking rugby welcome players of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. No one is turned away on grounds of ability or finances.

Walking Rugby and Accessible Recreation

Walking rugby is one of our flagship community programmes — bringing the game to older adults, those recovering from injury, and anyone for whom traditional sport feels out of reach. It's a powerful example of how we use sport to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and keep people active and connected.

Community Facilities Open to All

Based at Burbages Lane in Exhall, our site includes grass pitches, a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), gym and conditioning space, and a clubhouse. These facilities are run for the benefit of the whole community — not just club members — with flexible access designed to remove barriers to participation.

A Charity Built Around People

As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, every penny we raise goes back into sport and facilities. We keep membership fees affordable, offer concessions for those on lower incomes, and actively reach out to underrepresented groups. Our mission is simple: more people, more active, more often.

Rugby Ball on Field

Sport for Everyone.

Community at Our Core.

Coventry Community Sports Hub is a registered charity dedicated to one simple idea: that sport should be open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability.

Based at Burbages Lane in Exhall, we provide sporting facilities and programmes that bring people together — from competitive rugby to walking rugby, football to community fitness. Our site is a hub for healthy recreation, and everything we do is shaped by our charitable purpose: broadening access to sport and improving lives through physical activity.

As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, we are run by our trustees for the benefit of the community. We keep costs affordable, welcome members of all abilities, and actively work to reach people who might otherwise be left out of sport.

Whether you want to play, volunteer, or simply support what we do — you're welcome here.
